After evaluating the progress of infrastructure upgrade or construction of revenue offices in the district, Deputy commissioner Aashika Jain led the concerned officials to speed up the prescribed facilities to start the work soon. Deputy commissioner while registering the infra projects related to Revenue Department stated that New Sub Tehsil Building built in Zirakpur, Banur, Majri, redevelopment of SDM office Dera Bassi also on the list.
Reconstruction Allowance
DC Jain also said that allocation received for renovation include 3 crore for Banur, besides this 50 lakhs for each Majri and Zirakpur. Meanwhile, revenue offices have been asked to complete the procedure of transmission of land in the name of revenue department to start the work without any further delay. In the same way, the repair and maintenance work of Dera Bassi SDM office has been fixed at 90.17 lakh. In addition to that, the executive engineer provincial division Patiala, Manjeet Singh Dua warned the DC about the preparation of DNIT to built sub tehsil buildings in Zirakpur before floating the tender.
Construction of Work Station at Mohali
The Deputy Commissioner also took the capital to build a workstation at Mohali, the setting up of compactors at the District Record Room and allocating of basic amenities at the Workstation. Afterward, she asked ADC (G) Viraj Shyamkaran Tidke and ADC (Urban Development) Damanjit Singh Mann to observe the progress closely to begin the work without any detention. Moreover, SDMs Gulbir Singh from Kharar, Chandrajyoti Singh from Mohali, Himanshu Gupat from Dera Bassi and District Revenue officer Amandeep Chawla were also directed by the Deputy Commissioner to systemize the remaining observances to start the work.
